Long Hair Brown

♡ My YouTube - Laura Walsh // My Instagram - itslaurawalsh ♡

Say goodbye to the half-up/half-down bun – double buns have officially taken over as the trendiest cool girl hairstyle of the season. It’s only fitting, considering how many other late 90’s/early 2000’s trends are considered stylish again. Double buns are also known as space buns, and they always make me think of my childhood obsession with the Spice Girls. They’re cute, fun, unique, and easy to do – and they’re also super versatile. As it turns out, there isn’t only one way to do space buns.

These 25 braided hairstyles are perfect for an easy going summer day. It doesn’t matter if you have long hair, short hair or something in between, you’ll find braided hair ideas ranging from easy to ones that are a little more difficult. A few even have tutorials, so click on over and see all 25!

Sweater Weather Braids Hair Tutorial

This makes me wish I was better at braiding my hair or anyone's hair for that matter so that I could do this to mine or Evy's hair..

Trend Alert: Dashing Wedding Hairstyle Inspiration. http://www.modwedding.com/2014/02/13/dashing-wedding-hairstyle-inspiration/

Step 1 – Part your hair – I did mine on the side but this style is also cute with a centre part. Step 2 – Take a section at the front and split into three. Step 3 – Plait together in a French braid, bringing the sections in from underneath. Step 4 – Braid in section from the top only, leaving the rest of your hair to hang down under the braid. Step 5 – Finish the first side in a plait and secure with an elastic. Step 6 – repeat steps 2-5 on the other side. Step 7 – Tie the two sides together with an elastic. Hide the elastic by wrapping a section of hair around it and pinning it underneath with a bobby pin. Step 8 – Loosen up the braid to give it a messier finish and you’re ready to go.
